German TV maker Loewe's new OLED TVs are made from a solid mineral material called syno-stone that is durable and non-porous. They will be available in 55 and 65 inches.
Loewe, now majority owned by Skytec, has unveiled two unique OLED TVs called 'Iconic'. They will be available in syno-stone in two color variants, Graphite Grey and Clay White. The company says that the goal was to design a 360-degree "sculptural, all-encompassing design icon".
- "Loewe iconic is not a standard TV, it refines the interior with its sculptural form into an artful and gallery-like living space. Thus, the home becomes more than just a room to live in – it becomes a place to indulge in art, craft and culture – with Loewe iconic as a lovingly designed focal point. The basis is the unique, high-quality installation solution made of Syno-Stone material, color variant Graphite Grey. Syno-Stone is a solid mineral material that is durable and also extremely hygienic thanks to its non-porous surface," said Loewe.
These are premium products that will compete in Europe with TVs from Bang & Olufsen. Like Bang & Olufsen, Loewe has partnered with the LG corporation for WOLED panels.

Integrated soundbar with 5.1 option
The TVs feature 4K resolution and support for HLG, HDR10 and Dolby Vision. They also come pre-calibrated from the assembly line in Kronach, Germany.
A 3.1-channel soundbar is integrated behind the fabric panel under the TV. It delivers 360W of total music power, according to Loewe, and supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Multiroom via Play-Fi, and WDAL. The system can be expanded wirelessly to 5.1 by adding two rear speakers and subwoofer (e.g. Loewe klang mr1/3/5, Loewe klang sub1).
Users can even add two separate front speakers and use the soundbar as a center channel, or pair older active speakers or active amplifiers via AVR adapters without an additional adapter solution.

There is a built-in 1TB hard drive and dual tuners for recording of TV channels. Loewe says that an Amazon FireTV Stick 4K Max is included for access to streaming services – probably a wise choice considering Loewe's "Smart TV" history.
Loewe Iconic will be available in Europe starting in November 2022 for €6.499 / £6,499 in 55 inches and €7.999 / £7,999 in 65 inches.
