Amazon 'Omni QLED', 4-series & 2-series TVs are now available in the UK, Germany, Mexico

23 Mar 2023 | Rasmus Larsen |

Amazon is expanding availability of its in-house TV models to the UK, Germany, and Mexico. The TVs are available now at discounted prices.

Together with the announcement of the new 2-series and the expansion of the "Omni QLED" range of zone dimming LCD TVs, Amazon has confirmed that it is bringing its own TV models to more regions.

- "Amazon also is launching its Amazon-built TVs in more countries, bringing the Omni QLED Series, Fire TV 4-Series, and the new Fire TV 2-Series to the United Kingdom, Germany, and Mexico for the first time."

At this time, the 75-inch LCD model with zone dimming is not available in the two European countries.

These are Amazon's first in-house models designed to compete with Roku TVs as well as Smart TVs from more well-known brands such as LG, Samsung, Sony and TCL – but also Amazon's own partners selling Fire TVs. They run the company's Fire OS with access to popular streaming services, Alexa voice control, and other features. Amazon's Fire TVs are available now with prices starting at £169 in the UK and €189 in Germany, but that's the HD model. Check the links for more details on the various models and sizes. The most affordable model in Mexico costs $4500, but this again the HD model. Amazon boasted that it has sold over 200 million media players and TVs based on the Fire TV operating system. We refer to the table below for more details on the three Amazon Fire TV ranges (the regular Omni is not available in the three new regions at this time).
