In addition to the global line-up announced in January, Hisense has this week unveiled its 2023 line-up for Europe. New models include the A85K OLED TV and UXKQ miniLED LCD TV – or "ULED X".

At CES 2023 in January, Hisense announced a "global line-up" comprising a flagship LCD called "ULED X" as well as the U8K, U7K and U6K ranges.

At that time, it said that the North American and European models will be more similar this year but it quickly became clear that Hisense in 2023 will continue to use Google TV in North America and its homegrown and more limited Vidaa platform in Europe. The European models (called **KQ) will also continue to use a mix of IPS and VA LCD panels.


A85K OLED and UXKQ miniLED LCD
The 2023 A85K OLED range has been confirmed in 55 and 65 inches and is the successor to last year's A85H. It is a minor upgrade without MLA (Micro Lens Array) technology.

The 'ULED X' LCD flagship will also be known as UXKQ in Europe, and be available in sizes ranging from 55 to 85 inches. It will feature up to 5,184 dimming zones and 2500 nits peak brightness in 85 inches, claims Hisense, as opposed to 8,294,400 "dimming zones" and 900 nits peak brightness in the A85K OLED.

Hisense's UXKQ also features two HDMI 2.1 ports and it is one of the company's first models with WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1.

Many of the same models will be available in North America but since there are still key differences in the TV platform and LCD panel used, we are currently listing only the confirmed European models in the TV Database and table below. We will come back with more information on the North American line-up.
