Apple's streaming service is expanding to newer Loewe TVs in Europe providing access to shows such as Ted Lasso, Silo and Severance.

Rather than Android, Loewe has a custom TV platform with access to apps such as Amazon, Disney+, Netflix, YouTube, and now also Apple TV+.

- "Apple TV+ is now available on all Loewe Chassis SL7-based TV models, such as the Loewe bild i series, the Loewe bild c TVs or the We. SEE TVs. The Apple TV+ app is automatically integrated into the user interface of the Loewe models via a software update and can be used immediately," announced Loewe.

Older Loewe TVs not compatible
Older Loewe TV models are not compatible with the app. These run on a different chassis with different software from the time before Loewe as a company was revived. Some Loewe TVs run Hisense's Vidaa platform which offers the Apple TV app.

The difference between the Apple TV+ app and the Apple TV app is that the former only provides access to Apple TV+ while the latter also provides access to iTunes movies for rent and purchase as well as Apple TV Channels such as MLB.

Apple TV+ is Apple's streaming service with series, movies, and documentaries.

FlatpanelsHD is chasing confirmation on the video/audio streaming quality. Update: The app supports streaming in 4K Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, says Loewe.
