Loewe, the maker of luxury TVs, has introduced a new 77-inch OLED TV called bild i 77. It features a custom TV platform and an integrated 1TB hard drive.
Loewe is back after filing for bankruptcy protection and can this year celebrate its 100th anniversary as a TV maker.
The German company is now expanding its 'bild i' line-up – currently available in 48, 55 and 65 inches – with a 77-inch OLED TV built on LG Display's WOLED panel (not the MLA panel) with 4K resolution and HDR support (HLG, HDR, Dolby Vision).
Built-in 1TB hard drive
The TV comes with a built-in 1TB hard drive for recording and pausing of live tv. This has been a key feature of Loewe TVs over the years and it remains in place despite the industry-wide transition to streaming services.

Loewe is using a custom platform called Loewe os7, based on the Vidaa platform from the new parent company Hisense. It offers access to apps such as Apple TV+, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Dazn, and Netflix, but many local apps in European markets are missing.
Pole stand
Loewe is offering flexible design options including a floor stand and a floor-to-ceiling pole stand that is available in up to 2.9 meters.
The TV is meant to cater to discerning buyers who are willing to pay extra for the design finesse and should be seen as an alternative to Bang & Olufsen TVs rather than mainstream models such as those from LG and Samsung.
Like Bang & Olufsen, Loewe is currently sourcing all of its OLED panels from LG Display.

Loewe says that the TV is equipped with four HDMI 2.1 ports but does not specify which HDMI 2.1 features are supported other than HDMI eARC.
The TV has an integrated hidden soundbar and supports wireless multiroom audio systems such as DTS Play-Fi, Apple AirPlay and Chromecast.
The Loewe bild i 77 is available now in Europe for £6000 / €6000.
