In addition to Samsung's monitor, Asus, MSI and Gigabyte have now also announced 500Hz QD-OLED gaming monitors. Two of them will feature DisplayPort 2.1.
Samsung was the first to announce a 27-inch 1440p 500Hz QD-OLED monitor, which will surpass the current 480Hz WOLED monitors. However, gamers will have plenty of choices with multiple 500Hz monitors in 2025.
At least three additional 27-inch 500Hz QD-OLED monitors will launch in 2025: Asus XG27AQDPG, MSI 272QR and Gigabyte FO27Q5P.
Two of the, with DisplayPort 2.1
While the Asus XG27AQDPG features DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1, which requires signal compression (DSC) to achieve 500Hz, the MSI 272QR and Gigabyte FO27Q5P will both include DisplayPort 2.1 with 80 Gbps bandwidth, eliminating the need for DSC.
These monitors have been certified to ClearMR 21000, the highest motion performance standard under VESA's updated certification program.

The monitors will launch later in 2025, with pricing and full specifications (Asus XG27AQDPG, Gigabyte FO27Q5P) to be confirmed.
