While Google TVs are set to receive Gemini AI in 2025, LG and Samsung will partner with Microsoft to integrate Copilot into their 2025 Smart TVs.
At CES 2025, both LG and Samsung revealed a new partnership with Microsoft to bring its AI assistant, Copilot, to the 2025 Smart TVs.
While specific details on Copilot’s TV features were scarce, Samsung showcased a vision for the future of AI in Smart TVs. The demo featured a Smart TV planning a Las Vegas sightseeing itinerary based on the user's preferences, complete with rich graphics and maps. Such functionality might become a reality someday, but it seems unlikely to be fully integrated into 2025 TVs.
Copilot for 2025 Smart TVs
Samsung confirmed that its 2025 Smart TVs (Q7F and up) and smart monitors will feature Copilot AI as part of its broader 'Vision AI' initiative. This announcement follows Samsung’s recent removal of Google Assistant from all its TVs.
- "In collaboration with Microsoft, several 2025 Samsung Smart TVs and Smart Monitors will feature Microsoft Copilot. This partnership allows you to explore a wide range of Copilot services, including personalized content recommendations," announced Samsung.

Meanwhile, LG plans to integrate Copilot into its 2025 OLED TVs.
- "Finding content on LG’s newest OLED evo TVs has never been easier, with AI Search6 leveraging a Large Language Model (LLM) to understand conversational context and uncover subtle user intentions. Access to Microsoft Copilot further streamlines the process, allowing users to efficiently find and organize complex information using contextual cues," announced LG.
At CES 2025, Google also revealed that Gemini AI will be coming to Google TVs from TCL, Hisense and Sony later this year. We got a demo of Gemini so check out our article here.
