ViewSonic has unveiled their second 120 Hz monitor after the 22-inch VX2265wm never made it into the spotlight. The new V3D241wm-LED is a new 24-inch 120 Hz monitor that also features a LED backlight.
ViewSonic V3D241wm has 120 Hz and 1920x1080
ViewSonic has released details about their second 120 Hz monitor. This time ViewSonic is launching a 24-inch (23.6-inch, but close enough) monitor with a 1920x1080 resolution. This is also a step up from 1680x1080 on the FuHzion VX2265wm.
A new interesting detail is that the new V3D241wm has a LED backlight making it the first 120 Hz monitor to not use the traditional CCFL backlight.

The monitor has a black, glossy bezel with a rounded edge at the bottom and a round stand. The stand allows users to tilt the V3D241wm-LED.
120 Hz enables 3D
The 120 Hz system enables V3D241wm – as the name implies - to display 3D in games using active shutter glasses. For example Nvidias 3D Vision kit.
The monitor features DVI, HDMI and D-SUB (VGA).
ViewSonic V3D241wm-LED will be available in Q2 2010. No word on pricing.
