At the Focus on Imaging 2011 show Eizo has unveiled their new 27-inch Color CG275W monitor for prepress, digital photography, graphical design og video editing.

Eizo has announced at new member to their ColorEdge series for professionals. It’s the 27-inch CG275W with 2560x1440 resolution and a built-in calibration sensor.

The built-in calibration sensor automatically calibrates the monitor to ensure accurate picture parameters. CG275W is the second monitor to feature a built-in calibration sensor. The first was the 24-inch CG245W model.
The 27-inch monitor comes with a 10-bit IPS panel and has an internal 16-bit 3D LUT (look-up table) to ensure perfect color gradation. It covers 97 % of the AdobeRGB gamut and 102 % of the NTSC gamut. Eizo has also incorporated their Digital Uniformity Equaliser (DUE) for perfect light homogeneity, as well as a technology that stabilizes brightness after start-up.

The stand has tilt, height, swivel and pivot adjustment and CG275W also comes with a monitor hood. Other technical specifications are: 6 ms (g2g) response time, 850:1 contrast ratio, 270 cd/m2 brightness and 178/178 viewing angles. Connectivity includes DVI, DisplayPort and Mini DisplayPort, as well as a USB 2.0 hub.
