AOC’s new 2-in-1 uses USB for power and video

AOC’s new 22-inch e2251Fwu relies only on USB and with a single USB cable you can supply power and video from a PC. AOC also believes that the new single-cable USB connection makes e2251Fwu an ideal portable monitor solution.

AOC e2251Fwu joins the gang of USB-connected monitors. We recently saw Asus’ version that used a single USB 3.0 cable for power and video signals. That also means that more than one monitor can be connected to notebooks or netbooks.

e2251Fwu has a 21.5 inch panel with a 5 ms response time, a 1920x1080 pixel resolution and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The monitor uses Edge LED to lower power consumption.

AOC says that they wish to create an elegant and timeless black design. The flexible stand is detachable and can transform the screen into a photo frame or presentation monitor in a matter of seconds. And because e2251Fwu is a light weight monitor it is easy to move around.
