LG has revealed the first details and photos of an enormous TV display that they will unveil at CES 2014. The 105-inch Ultra HD TV is curved, uses the 21:9 aspect ratio, and boasts a resolution of 5120x2160 pixels.
LG's 105-inch curved TV
LG will be bringing one of their largest and craziest TV to CES this year. With over 11 million pixels and a curvature, LG had to overcome several technical challenges, they say. One of the challenges was to overcome issues with uneven backlighting on a curved panel.

The TV uses a curved LCD panel with 5120x2160 pixel resolution. Instead of the typical TV format it is built around the extra wide 21:9 format used for many Hollywood movies.
