It is exactly as cheap but still half as expensive as high-end 75-inch TVs from other major brands. Hisense says that the TV supports 4K and HDR (high dynamic range).

Hisense’s TV will be available in select parts of Europe in time for Euro 2016, which has Hisense as one of the official sponsors. It will cost the same as many 55-60” TVs from more established brands and almost makes 75” feel accessible.

Hisense says that the TV has a 4K panel and a limited form of local dimming that enables it to reproduce HDR (high dynamic range). However, be aware that it does not have the hardware to do proper HDR and that it has not been “UHD Premium” certified. The TV supports 3D (active) and is just 13 millimeters thick, says Hisense.

The TV’s operating system is powered by a quad-core processor. From the user interface you have access to apps such as Netflix, Amazon Video, and YouTube. The TV supports both HEVC and VP9 decoding meaning that you can stream 4K content, too. There are two HDMI 2.0 ports (with HDCP 2.2) and two regular HDMI ports as well as three USB inputs.
