Amazon has revealed prices for LGs C7, E7 and G7 OLED TVs that are part of the 2017 TV line-up (via OLED-Info.com). The 55 C7 is for sale for $2499 and the new B7 is expected to cost less.
2017 LG OLED TV pricing
The 2017 OLED TVs will be cheaper than the 2016 OLED TVs but still quite expensive. Amazon has revealed pricing on three 2017 LG OLED TVs, except the most affordable B7.
A 55 LG C7 will sell for $2500 dollars, 65 LG E7 will cost $5000, and the 65 G7 will cost $7000. These are suggested retail prices so expect them to drop as soon as retailers start competing on prices. Pricing details for the other 55 and 65 LG OLED TVs have yet to be confirmed.
Compared to last years models, a 55 C series will sell for $1500 less whereas a 65 E series will sell for $2000 less. The 2016 models have since dropped in price and you can today buy a 55 C6 for $1900 - sometimes less.
The drop in price was expected but it appears that we will have to wait another year for truly affordable OLED TVs, unless LG has a surprise planned for the new B7 series. LG has a new big TV factory coming online in late 2017 or early 2018.
