We mentioned the coming Dell U3011 some time ago but now it’s been made official by Dell. The massive 30-inch U3011 is now online on www.dell.com ready for order and shipping.

Dell’s new premium 30-inch monitor is official and has arrived with a 2560x1600 resolution in 16:10 aspect ratio, a 7 ms (g2g) response time and a quality IPS panel that Dell calls PremiumColor.

Dell U3011 is a wide gamut monitor but arrives factory-tuned to AdobeRGB and sRGB modes. It also had an integrated LUT. The monitor is targeted at professionals working with CAD/CAM, graphic design, gaming and color precision matters, Dell says.

The stand has height, swivel and tilt adjustment but no pivot. The design is kept in black, matte plastic and Dell has integrated a range of inputs such as DisplayPort, audio connectors (supports 5.1), 2 HDMI 1.3, 2 DVI-D connectors with HDCP, D-SUB (VGA), and component. U3011 also has a 4-port USB hub and a 7-in-1 card reader.

Dell U3011 is available now and priced at 1499 USD on the US Dell store. It has not yet been released in Europe but is expected to arrive very soon. We’re working on getting a review sample at the moment.
