Yesterday, Nokia unveiled their new Windows phones but in their “Future Lounge”, Nokia offered glimpse of the future – a flexible future, that is. Nokia brought a bendable phone concept based on a flexible OLED display, dubbed the “Nokia Kinetic Device”.
Nokia’s bendable OLED phone concept
Nokia calls it the Nokia Kinetic Device but the name is not really important. At the moment it is only a prototype.

The phone builds on a flexible 4-inch OLED display that lets the user bend the phone. By twisting and bending the user can actually control the device, scroll through songs, zoom in and out, turn up/down volume etc. Nokia did not provide many details regarding the OLED screen but it seems that it uses a plastic substrate instead of glass.
