Chinese Haier has introduced several new TVs at CES 2012. The EV series will arrive in 55-inch and 65-inch variants with passive 3D and a ”virtually edgeless picture”.

Haier has introduced new TVs at CES 2012. The most interesting new product range is the EV. The EV models come with a near-borderless design and Edge LED.
Haier’s EV range
Haier’s EV range offers Smart TV functions have been incorporated, with Yahoo Connected TV. Everything is controlled with a double-sided QWERTY remote.
Haier also highligths a built-in passive 3D technology that lets users enjoy 3D content on the screens - as well as 2D-to-3D conversion.
The 55-inch Haier LE55EV29813D will be available from Q2 2012.
Haier’s 23-inch HDTV
A small 23-inch ”designer TV” will also be available with Edge LED, an ultra-slim cabinet and a range of color options (Black, White, Metallic Grey and Red). Expect the Haier LE23D2480 in Q2 2012.
