Sony recently launched its new 4K TV line-up, and we have just received the new X900B (X9005B in Europe), which is the successor to last year’s X900A. It is a 4K TV with HDMI 2.0, HEVC and Sony’s characteristic wedge design. We will be sharing some of our findings on twitter during the review.
Sony X9000B received
Sony is using “4K TV” instead of Ultra HD TV, but all of its new TVs still offer HDMI 2.0 for 4K players and HEVC, which enables Netflix in 4K. The wedge design is slightly thicker at the bottom, allowing Sony to integrate more powerful speakers. It also has Smart TV features and will get support for PlayStation Now later on.
