You can now listen to Apple Music's catalog of over 90 million songs and watch music videos in up to 4K resolution on your LG Smart TV.
Apple Music on LG TVs
Apple Music came to Samsung Smart TVs in April 2020 and the app is now also available on LG Smart TVs. The app can be downloaded from LG's content store in supported regions now.
The user interface mirrors that of Apple Music on Apple TV and Samsung TVs. You should probably not use a TV as your main music system due to its high energy consumption but having Apple Music on your TV also lets you enjoy music videos in up to 4K resolution. FlatpanelsHD can confirm (photo) that Apple Music's 4K music videos are supported on LG TVs.

On the other hand Apple Music does not appear to support Dolby Atmos and lossless streaming on LG TVs. Both new features are supported on the Apple TV box. There is no word on compatible LG models either. We tested the app on a 2020 LG OLED model.
Apple Music lets you stream over 90 million songs from around the world. You can access your own playlists or Apple's curated playlists. The app also has realtime lyrics.
LG Smart TVs already had access to Amazon Music, Spotify and Tidal (which supports Dolby Atmos music).
