Boosteroid allows you to stream games you already own on Steam, Epic, and other stores via a powerful remote PC that will soon deliver up to 4K and 120fps with ray-tracing.

Boosteroid is available as an app for newer LG and Samsung Smart TVs, Android TV, Google TV and PCs. Unlike the Xbox app, which comes with a game library as part of the subscription, Boosteroid lets you stream games you have purchased.

It is essentially a powerful remote PC in the cloud that you pay to rent to stream games over the internet to your various devices (so you don't need a powerful PC at home), similar to Nvidia's GeForce Now service.


Game streaming in 4K120
As spotted by website Cloud Dosage, Boosteroid has begun to tease a new 'Ultra' subscription with support for game streaming in up to 4K resolution, up to 120fps, and with ray-tracing support.

Boosteroid's Ultra tier will be available soon for €17.89 a month or €14.98 a month for 6 months, with comparable pricing in USD. This is notably cheaper than Nvidia's comparable premium tier on GeForce Now, which costs €22 a month or €109 for 6 months.

Launch at CES?
There is no word on exactly when Boosteroid Ultra will be available or on which devices the higher game streaming quality will be supported.

It is possible that the launch is timed to coincide with CES 2024 in January where TV makers will be making announcements about their 2024 TV models.
