26 Mar 2009 | Rasmus Larsen |

BenQ follows in the footsteps of other manufacturers and has announced the G Series of Full HD 1080p LCD monitors, with 8 models ranging from 18.5” wide to 24” wide.

The G Series is comprised of two non-1080p models and six 1080p models. The 20” G2020HDA and 18.5” G920HDA displays has a resolution of 1366x768 and 1600x900, respective.
The 24” G2411HD/HDA, 23.6” G2410HD and 21.5” G2220HD/HDA models have a Full HD (1920x1080) panel.

Most of the monitors feature a 5 ms (g2g) response time.

- "16:9 is without doubt the superlative format, perfectly matched to today’s Full HD content for flawless viewing,” said Peter Chen, General Manager of the BenQ Technology Product Center.
<>i"Our goal with the G Series was to transform this new “luxury” standard into a common household standard so that 16:9 perfection is an affordable reality everyone can experience."

The screens are based on TN panels and connected by analogous D-SUB (VGA) or digital DVI input. The frame has a glossy black finish and the stand allows the user to tilt the monitor.
