Eizo has introduced a new 22-inch monitor with 1920x1200 pixel resolution in 16:10. The monitor is called SX2262W and suited for professionals in CAD, DTP, design and graphics.
Eizo SX2262W
Eizo SX2262W is official and with an unusually high 1920×1200 native resolution for its size it looks very interesting. Compared to the 1680×1050 native resolution of most 22-inch monitors, the FlexScan SX2262W displays approximately 30% more information in the same amount of screen space.
Eizo FlexScan SX2262W
The FlexScan SX2262W has a wide gamut VA panel that reproduces 95% of the Adobe RGB color space, allowing it to display most colors of a photograph taken in a digital camera’s Adobe RGB mode. The monitor also comes with a sRGB mode so that images meant for display in this narrower, but widely used color space, such as those used on most web pages, will be shown as intended.
Eizo says that the panel has a native contrast ratio of 1000:1, a 6 ms (g2g) response time and 280 cd/m2 brightness. Viewing angles are 178/178. SX2262W also employs a 12-bit look-up table (LUT) and uses 16-bit internal processing.
You can connect SX2262W through either one of the two DVI inputs or the DisplayPort input.

FlexStand and Brightness Equalizer
A versatile stand called the “FlexStand” offers 344° swivel, 30° tilt, 90° portrait rotation, and 225 mm height adjustment.
SX2262W also comes with EIZO’s Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE). DUE compensates for fluctuations in brightness and chroma uniformity that are characteristic of LCD panels.
And to maintain proper display of color, SX2262W is equipped with a function that stabilizes the monitor’s brightness level after startup or coming out of power saving mode. The monitor also has a temperature sensor that detects and automatically suppresses changes in brightness and color caused by variation in the surrounding temperature.
