Philips MMD will exhibit new PC monitors at IFA 2011. Philips Ergosensor is a brand new display technology that helps the users to optimize ergonomic positions in front of the monitor. Additionally, a new Philips LightFrame monitor with Moda design that eliminates eye fatigue will be revealed and lastly Philips plans to unveil a 27-inch 3D gaming monitor.

Get tips from an ergonomics expert

A Philips monitor with "Ergosensor" technology will be exhibited at IFA 2011 in Berlin. The monitor analyzes the user's working position in front of the screen and gives suggestions on ergonomic.

This is done by analyzing the location of the user's face relative to the screen using a CMOS camera with a processor. This can prevent fatigue, backache and many other work-related health problems, Philips claims.

A healthy, visual experience

Besides the Ergosensor, Philips also plans to announce an elegant Moda monitor with Philips LightFrame technology.

LightFrame is light bezel surrounding the LCD display that emits a cool blue light to stimulate the user's vision. The elegant design in glossy, black and white bi-color characterizes the Moda series - combined with high ergonomic standards.

Gaming in 3D

Last but not least, Philips plans to introduce a 27-inch 3D gaming monitor. With a pair of 3D glasses included in the box, users can experience the third dimension with this new 16:9 Full HD LCD monitor.

The monitor also features touch-controls and Smart Image, providing users with easy and simple settings.

The new Philips monitors will be exhibited with full specs at IFA in hall 22 (position 101).
