Panasonic unveiled its new affordable AX630 Ultra HD TV at IFA, and it is now available in stores throughout Europe. It has a HDMI 2.0 port, but no HEVC decoding.
AX630 has no HEVC
The AX630 is the new affordable Ultra HD TV from Panasonic, and it also moves 4K resolution into smaller TV formats, including a 40-inch model.
AX630 still offers the HDMI 2.0 port of the more expensive AX800 and AX900 models. This allows you to connect 4K players in the future. However, AX630 has no HEVC decoding, which means that it cannot stream Netflix or any other streaming service in 4K.
