Eizo’s ColorEdge series is for professionals working with graphics, video, print, and more. The manufacturer is now adding two 27-inch monitors to the line-up. CS2730 and CG2730 feature 2560x1440 resolution as well as support for the AdobeRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces.

Eizo has made sure to accurately calibrate the two monitors from the factory but CG2730 has an additional built-in calibration sensor that can swing down from the top of the frame and automatically fine-tune colors over time to ensure the best possible color accuracy.

Eizo’s ColorEdge series has existed for years and has been designed to cater to the needs of professionals working with graphics production, print, video, and other color critical tasks. That is why both of the new monitors support the AdobeRGB color space, which is significantly wider than the standard sRGB. The latter, CG2730, also supports the DCI-P3 color gamut, which was originally developed for cinema but is now also used for consumer HDR TVs.


Eizo says that the bezel is 46% thinner than on its previous models and that the cabinet is 30% thinner. The monitors are also 30% lighter. There is built-in HDMI, DVI, and DisplayPort as well as a USB 3.0 hub. In addition, CG2730 comes with a shading hood (optional for CS2730) and both monitors come bundled with Eizo’s ColorNavigator software package.
