Not many streaming services are available on Nintendo's Switch console but Crunchyroll is starting today. It has also added SharePlay support on iPad and iPhone.
Crunchyroll updates
You can download the Crunchyroll app now from Nintendo Switch's eShop to your homescreen. The app supports TV and on-the-go streaming on Switch.
- "There's officially a brand new way to watch Crunchyroll, and it's right in the palm of your hands. The Crunchyroll app is now available on Nintendo Switch™, so you can stream all of your favorite anime on TV while your console is docked, or on the go with handheld and tabletop modes," the company announced.
There is also download option for offline viewing. Crunchyroll offers anime shows like Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, JUJUTSU KAISEN, My Hero Academia, and Tokyo Revengers.
At this time, Nintendo Switch only has a handful of apps including Hulu, Twitch and YouTube. Not even Netflix is supported.
Crunchyroll has also rolled out support for Apple SharePlay on iPhone and iPad to let you watch content together with friends and family from afar.
