The new version of Xbox Series S, which was unveiled in June, features 1TB of storage and a black cabinet. It is available starting this week in the US, the UK and more countries.
Microsoft is expanding its line-up and now offers three game consoles; two Series S consoles and the more powerful Series X.
The hardware in the new Xbox Series S is mostly the same, except that that its storage capacity is double that of the existing (white) Xbox Series S. The price difference is $50, which seems reasonable for 1TB of storage instead of 500GB.

The Xbox Series S consoles do not match the graphics performance of the more expensive Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5, but they still come with some of the current-gen capabilities such as a fast SSD instead of a conventional hard drive.
The console has an HDMI 2.1 output that supports up to 4K 120Hz output but games are rendered at lower resolution and rarely in 120fps.
Xbox Series S 1TB will be available starting this week in the in the US, the UK, Germany and other major markets, and will soon reach more countries.
