Like the Star hub on Disney+ in Europe, Hulu is now a hub on Disney+ in the US. Hulu content will also show up in recommendations and collections. Disney+ has a new logo.

After a three-month beta, subscribers to the Disney+ and Hulu bundle in the US no longer need to jump between the Hulu and Disney+ apps, unless they want to watch live TV on Hulu.

In addition to the Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic hubs, there is now a Hulu hub.

Deeper Hule integration
Disney said that Hulu content is now also integrated into recommendations, sets, and collections across Disney+. Hulu titles will show up in 'Continue watching' too.

- "What’s thrilling about the full launch of Hulu on Disney+ is we’re reducing friction for Bundle subscribers," said Joe Earley, President of Direct-to-Consumer, Disney Entertainment. "During the beta, the Hulu content was purposefully isolated to the Hulu Hub, but now it will be fully integrated into Bundle subscribers’ homepages."

Hulu offers content more targeted adult viewers, including titles such as The Bear, Shōgun and Only Murders in the Building. Many of the Hulu originals are available to stream in 4K Dolby Vision and/or Dolby Atmos.

- "We know that consumers want ‘kid time,’ ‘we time,’ and ‘me time.’ Hulu on Disney+ now offers all of that and gives viewers options for their experience with parental controls and content settings," added Earley.

To mark the merging of Disney+ and Hulu, the Disney+ app now features a new icon in 'Aurora' color. Simply update the app on your preferred device, whether it is Apple TV, FireTV, Google TV, Smart TV, or any other device, to get started.

- "The color is named Aurora, both for the aurora borealis, but also as an homage to Princess Aurora," Earley said. "It’s beautiful, a bit more adult, and signals a change."
