UHD Blu-ray arrives in May
If you seek the highest possible video bitrate and lossless Dolby Atmos in TrueHD, you should wait for the UHD Blu-ray release.
Dune Part 2 will be available on UHD Blu-ray starting from May 14, depending on your location. The disc will present the movie in Dolby Vision, falling back on HDR10 if your TV, such as a Samsung TV, lacks support for Dolby Vision. It is 100GB disc.
The home release of the movie will not be presented in the expanded IMAX Enhanced aspect ratio. Instead, it will be 2.39:1 throughout.
Pre-orders for the UHD Blu-ray disc are currently open on Amazon and other international or local retailers for $30, £25 and €30.
