Samsung is the world's largest flat panel TV manufacturer and now – according to Bloomberg – Samsung plans to introduce TVs with the Google TV platform. The announcement will be made in January. Sony was the first manufacturer to integrate the Google TV platform.
Samsung and Google TV
In October 2010 Sony announced flat panel TVs with Google TV built in. At the moment these are only available on the US market but Internet-in-TV seems to be a general trend.

Bloomberg has received information stating that Samsung wants to unveil TVs with Google TV. According to Bloomberg the TVs will be announced in January which hints at a CES 2011 Las Vegas announcement. Bloomberg also says that not all details of the plan have been decided.
Google TV is a platform that integrated Internet into flat panel TVs – either directly or through external boxes.
