Samsung will release new LED and plasma TVs, as well as its first Ultra HD TVs. Samsung’s OLED-TV could be released in 2013. 2013 is all about Smart TV and new smarter features but Samsung also promises improvements to picture quality.
LG has a massive line-up of TVs in 2013. The Smart TV features will be expanded to even more TVs and LG will release its first OLED and Ultra HD TVs, along with new LED and plasma TVs. Some of the new Smart TV features include Miracast and NFC.

Gaikai cloud gaming opens on Samsung Smart TVs

We told you about Samsung and Gaikai’s plans for a cloud gaming partnership in June. The Gaikai beta app is now open in the US. Try it out yourself.

Gaikai opens on Samsung Smart TV

Gaikai announced plans to partner up with Samsung during the E3 conference in June. And even though Gaikai has later been acquired by Sony the partnership still stands.

The Gaikai experience is now opening up to owners of a Samsung Smart TV (7000 line or above) in the US. The app is still labeled as beta on the Smart Hub start screen. You need to update your firmware in order to access the new app.

When downloading the app you will receive a code for Gaikai’s Early Access Program. Lucky users will receive a Logitech gaming controller. Try it and come back with your experience here!
