Sharp's 2013 TV line-up
Sharp has big news for 2013, literally. Sharp has decided to make 60” the new minimum size for most of its TV ranges, with the biggest TV being a 90 inch mammoth. Sharp says that you can expect improved picture quality, access to streaming services via the new Smart TV platform as well as other new features. Sharp’s 2013 TVs are starting to become available in USA and Europe now.

Sharp’s 2013 TVs
Sharp will release a range of new TVs in 2013 and you can expect to see large-size TVs that are more affordable than ever. Sharp is focused on bringing large-size TVs into consumers’ homes and their 90 inch TV will reach other regions outside USA for the first time.Sharp’s new 8 series TV not only has Sharp’s most advanced imaging technology and a new Quattron panel but also features the new Smart TV platform. Sharp’s 8 series is available in up to 80 inches.
The new Smart TV platform offers access to internet services, including Netflix, Vudu, Pandora, and many others. There is a built-in web browser and you can download new apps through the app store. Most of the new Smart TVs are run by a new, faster dual-core processor. The smart features and the TVs can also be controlled from your iOS or Android smartphone.
Additionally, Sharp will introduce cheaper 7 and 6 series as well as their first Ultra HD TVs; including one with THX certification. The Ultra HD TVs are expected to hit the market this summer.
Europeans will be able to enjoy a USB recording function. By connecting an USB hard drive to one of the USB ports you can unlock recording capabilities. It is also possible to pause live TV broadcasts and rewind to the point when you switched to the channel.
Sharp has also made efforts to improve sound quality and in the high-end models, Sharp has integrated relatively powerful speakers and a small subwoofer.
The cheapest TVs are available in stores now and most other TVs will become available in May.
Sharp Ultra HD TV (LED)
Sharp will launch its first Ultra HD TV in 2013. It is a high-end 60” TV with THX certification for both 2D and 3D.Sharp’s Ultra HD TV will become available this summer in USA and Europe. A cheaper 60” variant without ICC and THX will also become available.
Sharp LE857 (LED)
Sharp LE857 is the new flagship LED model. It will be available in 60, 70 and 80 inch sizes with Sharp’s most advanced picture systems and the new Smart TV features.USA:

Sharp LE745 (LED) – USA only
LE745 is 2012 model that will continue on the US market in 2012. It is Sharp’s 90-inch TV.USA:
Sharp LE757E (LED) – Europe only
Sharp LE757 is the European 90-inch TV that has a more exclusive design in brushed metal and updated Smart TV features with the new dual-core processor.Prices

The US version of Sharp LE757 is the step down from LE857. Is has an aluminum frame and Smart TV features.USA
Sharp LE751E (LED) – Europe only
The European Sharp LE751E is a step down from LE857. It has an aluminum frame and Smart TV features – but without the dual core processor.Europe
Sharp LE657 / LE651 (LED)
Sharp LE657 (in USA) / LE651 (in Europe) is a mid-range model. It no longer uses the Quattron panel and has a plastic frame. A LE650 variant without 3D will also be available.USA

Sharp LE351 (LED)
Sharp LE351 is a budget model targeted at Europe. It will be available in black or white.Europe
