Hisense 2026 TV lineup (with TV compare tool)

15 Apr 2026 | Flatpanels |

Hisense is expanding its focus on RGB LED and miniLED. The new TVs will be among the first to feature Dolby Vision 2. You can also expect higher refresh rates, four HDMI 2.1 ports and a more streamlined design. Here is Hisense's 2026 TV lineup.

We have redesigned our TV line-up overview to include more data and technical information (under TV models click on to expand the view). We are also introducing an interactive TV compare tool (use to add TVs to compare tool). It's all powered by the TV Database.
As one of the two major Chinese TV makers – and one of the largest globally – Hisense has made headlines particularly for its miniLED technology and value-for-money pricing. The company is trying to establish a stronger presence globally, so FlatpanelsHD has begun covering their TV lineups in more depth. This year's flagship models are the UR9S and UR8S. These will be Hisense's first LCD TVs with RGB miniLED backlighting at a more accessible price point, following last year's massive showcase TV that aimed to position the company as a leader in RGB LED. You will also hear a lot about Hisense this summer due to its sponsorship of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

What is RGB LED? It stands for red, green and blue LEDs – essentially three colors of light diodes as an alternative to miniLED, which uses only blue LEDs. By using red, green and blue LEDs in the backlight, the color gamut of an LCD TV can be expanded. This also requires HDR content mastered in a wider color space. Hisense also claims peak brightness of up to 4000 nits in UR9S. RGB LED is the next step in LCD TV development in the competition against OLED technology. Other manufacturers refer to the same approach as "micro RGB" – it is essentially the same technology. Regardless of the name, picture quality ultimately depends mainly on the number of local dimming zones in all LCD TVs. We are working to confirm the number of zones for each screen size. This does not mean Hisense is abandoning miniLED. Instead, the technology is now moving down into the 8- and 7-series, meaning more affordable mid-range models – with E8S (Europe) and U6S (USA) becoming Hisense's cheapest miniLED models in 2026. The company also continues to offer more conventional LCD TVs at lower price points and in sizes up to 100 inches. Large screen sizes remain one of Hisense's key strengths. That continues this year, with 100-inch models available across multiple new model series. Later this year, a 116-inch UXS flagship model will launch, but it will not be available in all regions, alongside a cheaper 116-inch U6SG in the US. You may have heard Hisense also talking about micro LED, here referring to true LED TVs in even larger sizes at 136 inches and above. However, these MX-series TVs will remain extremely expensive, and we do not expect them to play a major role in 2026. For truly large images, Hisense continues to point to its 'Laser TV' range, which consists of short-throw laser projectors designed to sit very close to the wall. Dolby Vision 2 is one of the key headlines this year. Alongside Philips and TCL, Hisense is among the first to support Dolby's latest video format, which is no longer limited to HDR (High Dynamic Range) alone. Dolby Vision 2 will require a firmware update and compatible content, so it will take some time before all elements are in place. Also read: All our Dolby Vision 2 questions answered Dolby Vision 2 is enabled by the MediaTek Pentonic 800 chip, which also enables four HDMI 2.1 ports (or three HDMI 2.1 ports plus one USB-C with DisplayPort) on several of Hisense's 2026 models – see the overview further down. HDMI 2.1 support also includes features such as ALLM and eARC.
Hisense Vidaa

In Europe, Hisense continues to develop its proprietary Vidaa TV platform. Vidaa includes major international streaming apps such as Disney+, Netflix, HBO Max, and Apple TV, but is still missing some local and regional apps. In the US, Hisense offers models with either Google TV or Fire TV, and even a few with Roku. Some of these are largely identical between Europe and North America, except for the TV platform. Note that UR9S and UR8S run Google TV in the US and Vidaa in most other regions. Unsupported streaming services can be cast to the TV via Apple AirPlay 2 or Google Cast (Chromecast) in the Google TV models. However, the Vidaa-based models do not have built-in Google Cast. Another new feature from Hisense this year is higher refresh rates of up to 180Hz in 4K. This is not intended for use with consoles or media boxes, but rather with PCs. Alternatively, users can instead push up to 330Hz at 1080p. Hisense also highlights more refined unibody design on its higher-end models as well as audio tuned by Devialet in Europe. The company also offers a competitor to Samsung's The Frame, but its Canvas TV will only be available in select regions – we may include it in our overview later.

Naturally, the TVs come with tuners suited for the local market, so you can still watch traditional broadcast TV. Other features include a full suite of HDMI 2.1 features, multi-HDR (HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Vision) and Dolby Atmos support. This is the second time FlatpanelsHD is publishing a line-up overview of Hisense TV models, but we have also added previous years' models to the TV database, allowing you to compare side-by-side. The 2026 models end with 'S', while 2025 models end with 'Q' but be mindful because the 2024 models were labeled 'NQ' in stores (N = 2024). The 2023 models ended with 'KQ' (K = 2023). The overview will be updated continuously to reflect any changes or new models presented by Hisense. Once the TV models become available in stores, the model name and size will become clickable links for price comparison/retailers.
