Panasonic 2026 TV lineup (with TV compare tool)

17 Jul 2026 | Flatpanels |

Panasonic is entering into a strategic partnership with China's Skyworth for future TV production and development. The 2026 lineup includes both OLED and LCD models running Google TV, Fire TV or TiVo. Here are Panasonic's 2026 TVs announced so far – with more expected later this year.

The strategic partnership with Skyworth – one of China's largest TV manufacturers, though still relatively unknown in Europe – has already taken effect. Japan's Panasonic announced the collaboration in February.

The partnership with Skyworth brings changes. During the transition, last year's flagship OLED models, Z95B and Z90B, will carry over into 2026 – at least for now. Instead, Panasonic is adding the more affordable Z85C with Google TV and Z86C with Fire TV. Both are the company's first models to feature the new OLED SE panel, which promises up to 1000 nits despite its lower price point. Z85C and Z86C will be available in 55 and 65 inches, but not 77 inches. Panasonic and Skyworth have also said that we should expect "more announcements later this year". Exactly what that means – and when – remains unclear. It is worth noting that Panasonic has already unveiled a flagship Z95C in Japan featuring LG Display's second-generation Tandem WOLED panel. When asked by FlatpanelsHD, Panasonic Europe could not at this time confirm whether Z95C will launch in worldwide.

The LCD lineup has also expanded, with more miniLED models than before. According to Panasonic, W95C (and W97C, which differs only in frame color) features more than 1000 miniLED dimming zones and peak brightness of up to 1500 nits. These models run Google TV, while other new miniLED models, such as W94C, use Fire TV. Panasonic is also adopting TiVo OS for its more affordable models, while certain markets will even get Roku-powered TVs. The move to multiple TV platforms follows Panasonic's decision to discontinue development of its own TV operating system, which originated as Firefox OS. Panasonic TVs now support Apple AirPlay 2 and Apple Home. Google TV models also include built-in Chromecast, while Fire TV, TiVo and Roku models do not. These cast technologies make it easier to access unsupported streaming services by casting content from a smartphone.

A notable change this year is that most LCD ranges now feature an anti-glare screen coating. According to Panasonic, the matte finish significantly reduces reflections, although it also makes the picture look less vibrant. From W92C and up, Panasonic includes two HDMI 2.1 ports with eARC, ALLM and VRR support. QMS is still not supported. HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos are supported. This year's LCD lineup tops out at 86 inches, meaning Panasonic has yet to join the industry's move toward 98 and 100 inch TVs. Last year's W85B also remains in the lineup. Full details can be found in the overview below. Panasonic will also introduce more affordable S-series models with HD resolution and either Fire TV or TiVo, although these are not included in our overview.

Through its partnership with Skyworth, Panasonic said it aims to achieve a double-digit TV market share in Europe. That would represent significant growth after years of declining market share, particularly as Chinese TV brands have gained ground. It is also worth noting that Skyworth is the leading OLED TV brand in China while simultaneously investing in RGB miniLED technology for LCD TVs. Panasonic re-entered the US TV market last year, potentially giving the company greater scale going forward, but it remains to be seen what changes Skyworth wants to make.

Other features include Fire TV Ambient Experience, Amazon Alexa voice control, HEVC and AV1 video decoding, plus WiFi and Bluetooth. Panasonic's 2026 TVs will launch across Europe in late summer and autumn. The letter "C" in the model name denotes the 2026 generation: Z**C and W**C = 2026, Z**B and W**B = 2025, Z**A, W**A and S**A = 2024, M = 2023, L = 2022, J = 2021, H = 2020, G = 2019, F = 2018, E = 2017, D = 2016 and A = 2014. Panasonic skipped the letters B, I and K. This overview will be updated continuously to reflect any changes or additional models announced by Panasonic. Once the TVs become available in stores, each model name and screen size will become a clickable link to price comparisons and retailers.
