LG Display have showcased a new 27" monitor LCD panel at this years’ CES 2009 fair in Las Vegas. It has a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and might be the first 27” IPS panel on the market.
The new 27” inch panel from LG Display incorporates a 120 Hz technology. The 120 Hz technology allows the panel to refresh 120 times every second – double the times of conventional 60 Hz LCD PC monitor panels.
LG has not confirmed if it is an interpolation technology like the one used in LCD-TVs.

The panel has a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels but no other specs have been released so far.
LG Display is the LCD panel manufacturers of the IPS panel ideal for graphics works. They also manufacture TN panel.
LG Display have not confirmed that the new 27” inch panel is a IPS and it could be a TN panel. Samsung is the only panel manufacturer to have a 27” inch LCD panel on the market at the moment.
