Panasonic has already incorporated NeoPDP into the Panasonic 2009 models but the next generation of NeoPDP is very promising, with lower power consumption, slim TVs of just 8.8 mm and giant screens at 150 inches.
Panasonic has reviewed its phosphorus and cell design structure and improved circuit and general technology with the goal of improving its plasma-Tv panels. This has led to a reduction of power consumption and the same high standard of picture quality we have come to expect from Panasonic.Ultra Thin and huge NeoPDP
The newly developed NeoPDP technology has been incorporated into two types of plasma displays. The first is an ultra-thin 50-inch plasma prototype measuring just 8.8 mm in depth.
Despite the ultra-thin panel it reproduces Panasonic’s best picture quality and a motion resolution of 1080 lines. The ultra-thin profile also gives users more flexibility.

The second prototype is 150-inch gigantic NeoPDP plasma-TV that has amazing image quality due to its 8.84 million pixels at a resolution of 4096 x 2160 - more than four times that of Full HD (1920x1080).
