IFA 2009: BenQ’s new ”green” LED monitors

Green technology is very topical today, and BenQ has not overlooked this trend. They introduce two new “green” PC monitors with LED backlight.
BenQ has announced their two new monitors measuring 18.5 and 19 inches. They have been labeled G922HDL and G920WL.
BenQ G922HDL with LED
The two new models have a very low power consumption of only 10 and 11 watts in use. The secret is first and foremost the LED backlight but the low power consumption is also archieved due to an eco-mode on the monitors.
BenQ G920WL with LED
The resolution of two new BenQ monitors is, respectively, 1366x768 for the 18.5-inch model, G922HDL and 1440x900 for the 19-inch model, G920WL. Both models feature digital DVI and analogue D-SUB inputs.
Finally, BenQ mentions their so-called Senseye 3 technology that helps the user to optimize the picture, as well as different picture profiles.
Both BenQ monitors wil be available from November 2009. No prices yet.
