IFA 2009: LED-monitors from LG official

The new LG W86 series combines stylish design with energy-efficient LED technology. With a super slim profile and a depth of only 20.5 mm, LG takes an exciting step into the world of LED backlighting.

LG's new slim display has a black design with details of ruby and gold. The buttons are touch-sensitive and only revealed when your hand approaches.

W86 used a LED backlight and has a depth of only 20.5 mm, which makes the display thinner and lighter than most traditional CCFL-backlit displays. 


LG W2286L

W86 has a 16:9 aspect ratio and a dynamic contrast ratio of 2.000.000:1. Two HDMI inputs has been incorporated as well.


LG W2486L

The PC monitors also offers an Auto Bright function, which adjusts the brightness of the LCD panel according to the brightness of the room. This saves energy. A Cinema Mode improves the experience of online movies, making it possible to “black out” everything else on the screen than the online movie with one touch of a button.

W86 is available in two sizes; 22 and 24 inches (W2286L and W2486L) with a Full HD resolution (1080p) and a response time of 2 ms.
