IFA 2009: Philips presents Wireless HDTV Link

Philips introduces Wireless HDTV Link, allowing you to connect your TV to your set top box and AV components while respecting the aesthetics of the room.
Whether it is above the fireplace, in a recess or in-wall, now you can hang your TV wherever you want, not where the cables dictate they have to be. With Wireless HDMI you can relocate or even hide your set-top box and AV components and the 20 meter range will ensure that you keep a 1080p/30 HD signal, allowing you to enjoy the same high standard of picture quality without wires.
The Wireless HDTV link has two digital HDMI connections and two component connections, allowing you the freedom to switch between TV, DVD and games consoles simply and quickly, without having to change cables and plugs in between uses.
Philips Wireless HDTV Link is digital wireless technology transmits 1080i and 1080p/30 HD signals. The receiver has also been specially designed to fit behind standard TV wall mounts so that it is out of sight and won’t ruin the aesthetics of the room.
Philips Wireless HDTV Link also supports HDMI CEC.
