Samsung has announced two new monitors that have the highest contrast ratio ever on PC monitors because of a newly developed cPVA panel, according to Samsung. The two new monitors are both 23-inches and are called F2370H and F2380MX.

Samsung's two new 23-inch displays will set new standards for how high contrast ratios you can make on PC monitors, Samsung Korea says.
With F2370H and F2380MX Samsung promises a static contrast ratio of 3000:1 and a dynamic contrast ratio of up to 150.000:1.

F2380MX is targeting at discerning consumers and F2370H is intended for graphic and photographic work.
The F2380MX will also feature Samsung's glossy black"Touch of Color" design and built-in 2x3W speakers. F2370H, on other hand, has nice ergonomic features because of its stand.

According to Samsung the two new models have achieved a significant improvement in contrast ratio (because of deep reproduction of black) due to a further development of Samsung’s cPVA panel, that we also saw in the F2380 Samsung recently reviewed by out Danish colleagues.

Other technical specifications: Viewing angles of 178 degrees and 100 % coverage of the sRGB gamut. The resolution on both screens is 1920x1080, and the models finally feature an HDMI input.
Price and Availability
Both monitors will be available soon. Samsung F2370H is priced at around 350 USD, while F2380MX has a price tag of 370 USD.
