In 2010 Sharp will be focusing on the new Quad Pixel technology which adds an extra yellow sub pixel in the pixel structure to improve color reproduction.
The Quad Pixel technology is explained in the video below from Avforums.tv. In the video Sharp also tells a bit about the future of Televisions and what we might expect in 2011 and 2012.

In 2010 Sharp has created a new elegant design with an exclusive choice of material. The front consists of a glass frame making the bezel and panel fade together.
