Last week we mentioned that Bang & Olufsen has taken out a patent on a new remote control concept that is shaped like a cube. Because of the patent process no official pictures have been released by B&O, but FlatpanelsHD has managed to get a concept picture of the cube remote.

B&O has patented a new and unique remote control. The remote control is described as a cube with smooth edges. The remote has no touchscreen and no buttons, but can control everything from flat screen TVs to sound systems as well as heat and light conditions in the home.
Below you can see a picture of the remote control. The picture is from a screen displaying a concept image of the remote control. Actual product images will not be available until after the patent process has ended.

- "The remote that the students has developed is like a cube with smooth surfaces, just slightly larger than an ordinary dice. When you see it you’ll think that it is fun, and that you want to touch it and look at it," Bang & Olufsen’s Soren Bech, Research Manager says and continues.
B&O says that they have not yet decided whether this will be a real product or not but we’re excited to hear more. What do you think?
