Sony NX710 and NX810 are new designer 3DTVs

Sony introduced their NX range of flat panel TVs earlier this year as 2D models. The 3D fever is raging and Sony is now releasing two new 3DTV series. The two new NX710 and NX810 ranges are designer 3DTVs in Sony’s Monolithic design.FlatpanelsHD will be in Berlin to cover the world’s largest consumer electronics fair IFA 2010. Sony NX710 and NX810
Sony’s NX700 and NX800 models are now being replaced by new models called NX710 and NX810. The two new models will first and foremost incorporate 3D panels and Sony’s very appealing Monolithic design.
Both models are so-called 3D Ready which means that you need to buy separate 3D active glasses and a 3D transmitter. The models also incorporate Bravia Internet Video that gives you access to twitter, YouTube, Facebook etc., DLNA, and USB.
Sony NX710 will use the Motionflow 100/120 Hz PRO system and the NX810 the Motionflow 200/240 Hz system. Both are also equipped with Dynamic Edge LED backlight meaning that the LEDs are located at the sides of the panels and use a limited local dimming function. The models will utilize the glossy OptiContrast coating.

Sony says that these sets will be released in both Europe and the US in mid-September. Prices have not been revealed but expect 46 and 55 inch versions called 46NX710, 55NX710, 46NX810 and 55NX810.
