Samsung BD-C8900 is a Blu-Ray recorder with 3D

Samsung has unveiled a new HDD recorder called BD-C8900. BD-C8900 is the bigger brother to the two BD-C8300 and BD-C8500 models and also support playback of 3D Blu-ray movies. It also comes with built in DVB-C and DVB-T tuners (in Europe) and a 500GB hard drive.FlatpanelsHD will be in Berlin to cover the world’s largest consumer electronics fair IFA 2010. Samsung BD-C8900 is the bigger version of the two BD-C8300 or C8500 BD players. The difference is a larger hard drive and 3D Blu-ray playback capability, but it is also crammed with other interesting technology.
Samsung BD-C8900 has DVB-T and DVB-C tuners (and DVB-S in some EU countries). And together with the integrated 500GB hard drive it can help you record TV broadcasts and HDTV and replace your current external box from you TV broadcaster.

BD-C8900 is also a full blown 3D Blu-ray player, which is an additional feature compared to the two smaller BD-C8300 and BD-C8500 models.Internet and DLNA
If your TV has no Internet support Samsung BD-C8900 can help you. It has built-in Wi-Fi that lets you access Samsung Apps and use DLNA to stream music, video and pictures from another PC or MAC at home.

Samsung has not yet mentioned a launch date or price but BD-C89000 has just received an EISA Award for best European Blu-Ray player.
