Philips introduces “Design your own TV” concept

Philips has introduced the “Design your own TV” concept where you can design and customize your TV online to fit your personal taste and interior. Launching across Europe in October 2010, Philips enables you to easily customize your TV including the color of the TV frame, its screen size, its stand or wallmount and its accompanying remote control,FlatpanelsHD will be in Berlin to cover the world’s largest consumer electronics fair IFA 2010. Freedom to choose
With nearly 100 possible design combinations to think of, Philips offers you the freedom to design your TV the way you want it. Simply surf to www.philips.com/designyourtv, select your ideal screen size and match the color of your TV to your personal taste. Philips gives you eight colors to choose from.
To complete the design of your TV, you can select a conventional stand or easy-to-install wall mount and match its finishing to your customized TV frame. And to top it off, select from three remote controls perfectly designed to match your design.Based on the 7000 series
You can’t choose from all the Philips ranges. The TV will be based on the Philips 7000 series (called 7605H in Europe).

Once you have designed your TV, you can share it through Facebook, Twitter or another social media channel and get direct feedback on your design from your friends and family. Also check out this video to see how it works.As soon as you are happy with your design, you can order it via www.philips.com/designyourtv. Your TV will be made to order and delivered to your home free of charge within 3 weeks.
The “Design you own TV”-concept will be available in selected markets across Europe from October 2010. You can select from 32 and 42 inches models called 32PFL7605C and 42PFL7605C.
