The Chinese manufacturer of flat panel TVs, Haier, has demonstrated a unique concept at IFA 2010 in Berlin. The No-tail TV is a TV that requires no cables – not even the power cord.
Forget the cables
Chinese Haier has created a completely wireless TV and they exhibited the prototype at IFA 2010. The TV requires no HDMI cables, no antenna cables and no power cord. Power is transferred to the TV wirelessly. Sony previously demonstrated a similar concept behind closed doors but the Haier TV has been demonstrated in the wild.

The Haier No-Tail TV is not just an ordinary TV; it also displays 3D – again without a power cord. A 3DTV requires more power than a typical TV.
