New 3D glasses from Panasonic
Panasonic’s current 3D glasses have received criticism for being too heavy, too open (too much light enters), and for being clumsy. Panasonic has now addressed these issues with the new 3D glasses.
The 3D glasses are now closed on the sides and has a tighter fit, according to Panasonic. The weight of the 3D glasses has also been reduced (to between 32-40 grams) and they are now rechargeable via USB, unlike the current ones that uses batteries.
Panasonic has released three sizes; small, medium and large and these are called TY-EW3D2S, TY-EW3D2M, and TY-EW3D2L, respectively.
Below you see the glasses from Panasonic’s IFA booth.
The 3D glasses are not available in all stores yet and Panasonic has not announced which countries that will benefit from the new glasses but we noticed that they’re now available in the UK through ebay.
