Planar has announced a new 120 Hz monitor called SA2311W. The 23-inch model has a 1920x1080 resolution and a TN panel. It’ll be available in the US from December.

Planar – often associated with business solutions – have now released one of their few consumer products. They have decided to target gamers with their new 23-inch SA2311W monitor that has a 120 Hz panel.

SA2311W uses a TN panel like most gaming monitors today and the panel has a 1920x1080 resolution. Because SA2311W utilizes a 120 Hz panel ,3D is also supported with Nvidia’s 3D Vision system.
The frame is made from matte black plastic and the stand allows users to adjust the monitor in height, and also tilt the monitor. Connectivity includes analogue D-SUB (VGA) as well as digital DVI and HDMI.
Planar SA2311W is expected to ship in the US next month for $449.
