2011 is approaching fast and as always manufacturers will use the CES show in Las Vegas to unveil their new products. Now the first details have emerged about a new flagship model from Panasonic with Wireless 3D and KURO, to be called ZT30.
Panasonic ZT30
The slim Panasonic Z1 / Z11 plasma model from 2009 with an external media box is still on the market. According to sources Panasonic has a successor ready soon called ZT30 (probably ZT35 in the US).

Panasonic Z11 – now the new ZT30
At the moment we only have very few details about the ZT30. According to sources it should implement some of the Pioneer KURO technologies that Panasonic acquired after Pioneer’s withdrawal from TV and plasma-panel production. ZT30 will also support 3D and is expected to be one of the first models to implement wireless 3D.
The letter Z in the model name refers to the Z-series that has been the flagship since 2009. The letter T refers to 3D (just like on GT20/GT25 and VT20/VT25). The number 30 refers to a 2011 model (10 is 2009, 20 is 2010).
Panasonic also referred to the new ZT-range in the document that was leaked back in spring 2010. The list also described a"GT20 model" which was later introduced at IFA in September 2010 as GT20 in EU and GT25 in the US.
At the moment no official announcement from Panasonic has been made regarding the ZT30. I’m sure we will know more after CES in Las Vegas (Jan. 6-9, 2011).
