At CES 2011 Eizo plans to unveil a new monitor called Duravision FDF2301-3D. The Duravision monitor is a “true” 3D monitor which means that no 3D glasses are required.

Eizo is a manufacturer of PC monitors for consumers and professional environments. Now Eizo is entering the 3D market with Duravision FDF2301-3D. The interesting thing here is that the Duravision monitor reproduces “true” 3D without 3D glasses.

FDF2301-3D has a 23-inch LCD panel with LED backlight. The panel has a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and 3D is enabled via a directional backlight unit that has been integrated, Eizo says.
Many different 3D formats such as Side by Side, Anaglyph, and Frame Sequential (used for 3D Blu-ray and 3D games). The Duravision monitor measures 650x261x566 mm in size and weighs 16 kilograms
Eizo Duravision FDF2301-3D will be exhibited at CES 2011 in January. It will be available from 2011Q1 at a price of $12,000. We will return with more information about the 3D effect in January
