LG has unveiled the world's largest 3DTV based on Full LED technology. The new TV is called LZ9700 and promises superior picture quality comparable to other Full LED models – just in a much larger screen. LZ9700 is slated for release in the first half of 2011.

LZ9700 builds on LG's patented Full LED technology, with LEDs behind the LCD panel and not along the sides (Edge LED). Coupled with LG’s Micro Pixel Control (LED local dimming) 72LZ9700 reproduces extremely deep black levels, LG says.

Naturally, 3D is supported, too, and the huge 72-inch TV helps to create a fantastic 3D cinematic experience. And the TruMotion 400/480 Hz system ensures smoother motion and reduced trailing.
